What did you have to do to win the award?

The Creative Space Studio was nominated by Bollington residents, other businesses and organisations as they recognised how hardworking and determined she was to work with and help the local community working with a range of social groups as well as being involved in many schools around the North West.

Goals for the future:

The main goal for Debra is to find businesses to help sponsor her with CSR support so she is able to use her knowledge and understanding to help a range of different social groups in the community or for local groups in receipt of funding to use her expertise.
Debra is based at Clarence Mill Office Space in Macclesfield, a sister mill to Adelphi. Here she would love for her current studio to develop as an art gallery, to present her own work and that of local artists. Debra says “Moving so close to Cafe Waterside, Kellico Furniture and The Weave being, I hope to work in collaboration with these quality retailers by offering complimentary items for sale which will bring more people to Waterside Studios at Clarence Mill”
